Correction
I keep hearing all the time- this country is going down the drain! People dont' realize it is a cyclical process- it goes up the drain and down the drain, just like everything else. | | Monday, July 13th, 2009 | | 4:12 pm |
New lingo
With the advent of new realities- in somewhat reversed Orwellian fashion, we need a new lingo: Obviusoly sub means not just under, but also weaker or worse. It, actually, makes total sence; herea re some examples: 1. Sub-lime: means lemon 2. Sub- stance: well, obviously less important than a stance 3. Sub-ordinate: worse than ordinate 4. Sub-lingual: primordial language, to which we revert when out of words or dead drunk (see below) 5. Sub-conscious: i.e. dead drunk but not unconscious yet. 6. Sub-aru: Georgian (?) 7. Sub- titles: worse than titles 8. Sub- way: this one is obvious 9. Sub- version: adulturated version (such as returned by your subordinate) 10. Subscriber- nothing personal here, but, understandably- scriber is more important etc., etc., etc. | | Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 | | 1:55 pm |

March to stupidy continues
Actually, IMHO, it reached the destination: "at Jamestown, our first permanent settlement, they established the principle if your will not work you will not eat – not for the poor but for the aristocrats who thought they could buy their way out of work. The work ethic was at the heart of our welfare reform in 1996. It is the most successful conservative reform in modern times. Sixty five percent of the people on welfare went to work or went to school." So, are we to conclude that welfare receipients were trying to buy their way out of work? http://newt.org/tabid/102/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/4284/Default.aspx | | 4:24 pm |
Logically speaking
"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would, more often than not, reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life" ""It takes a tragedy like Sept. 11 to remind us that the differences we project onto others and which so often alienate us from each other are superficial and not terribly meaningful" Hm, so it only takes superficial difference to be a better judge OR being a wise Latina is not that superficial. Diagnosis: Full of sh-t. | | 4:17 pm |
Gingrich uber alles " It is why we have to teach American history accurately and honestly; and frankly, replace those professors and those teachers who are unwilling to be accurate and honest about American history. It is why we have to have judges that refer to the American Constitution and worry about American precedents and reject those would be judges or replace those judges who insist on quoting foreign precedent and foreign law, which has no application to the United States of America. Family values
F is a non-empty set, whose members can be: 1. Odd 2. Irrational 3. Fractional 4. Unreal 5. Imaginary It is odd and fractionally irrational (some might even say unreal), but, naturally, families somehow manage. It is also true that in most cases secondary members always beleive thay'll do better once they form their own sets, only to find out that the values stay the same, while the primary members of the respective supersets only grin saying- I told you so... | | 2:32 pm |

What's up with that? Have you seen a honey bear? You know ones they have in coffee houses and cafeterias.
Where in the world have you seen honey coming out of bear (instead of going in)?
It sends a wrong message to kids too- encouraging them to squeeze a bear.
I think chocolate bunnies are much better in that sense- you wouldn't expect them to chew on you ear, would you? | | Tuesday, April 21st, 2009 | | 5:41 pm |

| | Friday, March 27th, 2009 | | 5:18 pm |

д. и т.п. Кароче- Конгениально! | | 3:16 pm |
